When I say that Kaila and her program completely changed our lives - I mean it. After 9+ months of no sleep for our family, we were in desperate need of some help getting our son to sleep on his own. From the moment we first met with Kaila to share our situation and concerns and all the way through the process, she was kind, professional, gentle, incredibly empathetic, and full of knowledge. Before having my daughter and throughout the first 8 months of her life, I was adamant that sleep training wasn't for me. I could not stand the thought of leaving her in a room alone to cry herself to sleep. But I soon became exhausted. My daughter was waking up every hour and I was barely sleeping. I kept telling myself that she would grow out of this. But as the months wore on, I realized that we needed to do something. That is how I came upon gentle sleep training and Kaila. Kaila is kind, understanding, knowledgeable and patient. She listened to our concerns, was reassuring and gave us the confidence we needed to move forward with a plan designed specifically for us. Working with Kaila has been a life-saver for our family! For months, our baby and pre-schooler were both waking up frequently during the night and waking up at 5:00am ready to start the day. Needless to say, our entire family was exhausted and I was at my wits end. It cannot be overstated how much Kaila helped me and my baby get the sleep and gentle structure we needed. I thought I was blessed with an easy little sleeper since my son fell asleep and slept through the night from 3 months on. But around 11 months he would not sleep in his crib, and the only way for us to get any sleep was to co-sleep. I loved the closeness, but it wasn't realistic in the long-run for us. What also wasn't realistic was crying it out, which seemed to be the method that was being recommended to me left and right as the best or easiest way to fix this problem. But I knew in my heart that wasn't right for me or my son and that there had to be another way that was more aligned with how I wanted to parent. Kaila was incredibly patient, kind, respectful, and so knowledgeable with helping come up with a sleep plan for me and my son. Most importantly, I never felt alone in the process, and I never felt like I had to compromise in any way when it came to the care I wanted to provide for my son. I cannot recommend her enough!

We were desperate for a change in our sleep situation. My then 14-month wanted to sleep on top of me every night. Trying to encourage her own sleeping space ended up in nothing but escalated scream crying and eventually led to her throwing up. But with cosleeping, she was still restless. Nothing was working. Within a month of working with Kaila, my daughter was willingly ready to lay down in her crib for bed after lights out and sleeping almost 12 hours every night. Another month after continuing all we learned, my daughter began saying ‘bye’ to me or my husband as we walk out of her room saying goodnight. It's the most hilarious thing and a complete 180 of our situation just months before that. We reached out to Kaila in a time of crisis for us. We were attempting to transition our daughter into her own sleep space for nighttime and tried so many things. Working with Kaila is the absolute best money we have spent since becoming first-time parents 9 months ago. We didn't even plan on ever sleep training, but it was getting unsustainable for us as a family to keep trying to co-sleep, and also get the rest everyone needed. We were very nervous at first. As a mom that was against the standard of sleep training, a co-sleeper, and nursed her baby to sleep, I cannot recommend Kaila with Rest Easy Mama enough! We needed to change our routine for work reasons, but not because we wanted to. Kaila understood that and never made us feel pressured to go in a direction that did not align with our goals. When we first started working with Kaila, my 8 month old daughter fought sleep hard!! No one in the house was getting the good restorative sleep we all needed. It took hours to put her down for a nap to only sleep ten minutes or she would lay down for bed but woke 6 times a night.
